The idea for our Fresh Start Fixes initiative didn’t come from a business plan. It came from our daily drives through the neighborhoods we’ve called home our whole lives. As we passed by weathered porches, faded storefronts, and sidewalks in need of a little love, we found ourselves saying the same thing over and over: “We Could Help With That.”

 

We saw more than chipped paint or overgrown yards.

 

We saw potential.

 

We saw pride waiting to be restored.

 

And we saw neighbors who might just need a hand to get there.

 

That’s why we created Fresh Start Fixes—A program dedicated to offering discounted services to low-income households and commercial businesses in underserved areas in the Akron and surrounding community. From pressure washing and painting to minor repairs, landscaping, and cleanup, we’re here to help breathe new life into the places we all share.

 

This isn’t just about curb appeal. It’s about dignity. It’s about creating spaces that feel safe, cared for, and welcoming. It’s about making sure that no one has to choose between putting food on the table and fixing a broken step. It's about making a difference and seeing to it that homes and businesses are clean, safe and habitable.
